PREPARATION: As a client first your stylist will prepare your hair:

  1. Shampoo hair thoroughly with Wash_Elite shampoo.
  2. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot.
  3. Apply Resurect conditioner, leaving on for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Rinse thoroughly, towel blot.
  5. Then you hair will be sectioned into 6 or 9 regular perm sections. Making each sections are less than the width of the Straight Perm boards or rollers.

APPLICATION: next the straight perm - perming solution is applied

  1. Mix one pre-pack or 3 1/2 ounces of HPFC II powder with 3 1/2 ounces of Step 1 Perm Solution. (Powder and step 1 always mix in equal parts). Stir until paste is smooth, lump-free mixture.
  2. Start at sections at the nape of neck. Take subsections of 1/4 to 3/4 inch, comb through to free tangles.
  3. With the comb end of a plastic rat-tail comb, pick up a reasonable amount of the past mixture.
  4. Apply to both the top and underside of the sub parting, starting at the scalp.
  5. Using your fingers, gently work the paste into the hair from the scalp to the ends.
  6. Place the appropriate length board under the section. Using your hand under the boar, start at the scalp and comb the hair down onto the surface of the board.
  7. With the backside (spine) of the comb, ribbon (flatten) the hair on to the board.
This combination of flatening and stretching the hair slightly on the board, causes the internal "stress" that shifts the bonds inside of the hair so it will straighten.
  8. Completely comb and flatten the entire length of the section of hair.
  9. This process is repeated throughout all sections.
  10. When application is complete, the timing process starts. (30 minutes)

  1. After processing time is complete, you stylist will have filled a spray bottle with the Step 2 neutralizer.
  2. each board or , roller,is sprayed with the neutralizer, starting at scalp area.
  3. The neutralizer goes right over the perm paste and is left on the hair to neutralizer on for 10 minutes.
  4. the boards are removed and your hair is rinsed thoroughly for 5 to 15 minutes
  5. Resurrect Conditioner is applied for 3 to minutes, then rinsed thoroughly.
  6. Diamond_Heads Hair Cuticle Sealer /serum, is applied and your hair is styled.
